150 hr. Inspection Course for Rotax Engines

Light Sport Repair Services, Inc is pleased to announce that we will
again be offering the Rotax Engine course that will teach you how to
tear down and inspect your Rotax 2-Stroke engine. The 150 hour
inspection will include the ignition system, cooling system, lubrication
system, carburetion and the gearbox. The current pricing to take your
engine to a repair station for a 150 hour inspection is approximately
$900 Rotax recommends that you inspect and replace the crank shaft seals if necessary on all their Rotax 2-Stroke engines at 150 hours. The 150 hour service that you will be learning to do will include a complete disassembly, cleaning, inspection and reassembly with new seals and gaskets. Additional parts may be required upon the inspection of your engine. The 2 day course will run from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Rotax 582 engine course is scheduled for July 19th-20th, 2008. The Rotax 503 engine course is scheduled September 27-28, 2008 at our facility in Plymouth, IN. We can also offer this course at your location. We would need a minimum of 10 students to travel to your facility. If you have less than 10 students, we would require an additional $50 per student. If you would like to coordinate a course in your area please contact us for details. We would need 1 student to provide an engine for the 150 hour inspection. The student will be responsible for the cost of the gasket set and any additional parts found during the inspection of your engine.
